We believe that everyone has a part to play in the church, so that it can be everything God intends it to be. There are many different ways that you can serve at King’s (different volunteer opportunities require different levels of commitment and frequency - these are outlined below). Creche – Sunday programme for babies and children up to 4 years.
King’s Kids – Sunday programme for children between 4 & 9 years.
Rainbow – for carers and toddlers on Tuesday mornings.
ifive6 – Sunday programme for children in school years 5 & 6.
iD 11-14s – Sunday programme for young people in school years 7-9.
Welcome – welcoming people and stewarding on Sundays.
Car park – providing safe, effective car parking on Sundays.
Tea & coffee – serving refreshments on Sundays.
BSL interpretation – providing interpretation for Deaf people.
Worship – serving the church in corporate worship.
PA – providing audio and sound engineering.
Visuals – providing visual projection.
Small groups – helping people find a place to belong.
Youth – programmes for young people between 11 & 18 years.
Social action – providing support and housing for the disadvantaged.
Alpha – a 10-week course investigating the meaning of life.
20s & students – programmes for those between 18 years and their early 30s.
Wednesday Welcome – weekly meeting for over 55s.
Drama – serving the church through drama and performance.
Creative arts – serving the church through the creative arts.
